Your Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic Technical Services Manager for Technogym Australia. In this role, you will be in charge of ensuring high-end technical support performance. You will head the Technical Services Department, reporting to the Service Director, by efficiently and effectively managing the team to win customer loyalty and achieve our shared goals. If you have a solid background in technical service and you are obsessed with ensuring customer satisfaction, this is the position for you! Our service teams are always aiming to improve their performance so Technogym can provide the best fitness experience anywhere.
Your Impact
- Ensure the excellent performance of technical service, consistent with our brand positioning
- Ensure customer satisfaction with quality of service
- Manage costs of the technical service organisation
- Manage the performance of the workforce in the field, ensuring full saturation of internal staff and our network of service providers
- Ensure the right staffing and skills of the technical service organisation to guarantee the expected service level to customers (i.e. First Time Fix Rate, Response Time)
- Coordinate the team ensuring all responsibilities and goals are clear, organise training whenever is needed and monitor performance providing periodical follow-ups
- Increase organisational effectiveness, people development and engagement by promoting a continuous improvement approach
- Accountable for spare parts availability and inventory record accuracy
- Ensure that the corrective actions related to safety issues are handled with maximum priority and apply the established procedures
About You
You're down-to-earth, ethical, and passionate about an active lifestyle with the drive to keep raising the bar on customer service.
What you'll bring:
- 8+ years experience in a similar role, ideally with strong After Sales business expertise
- Confident across both electronic and mechanical engineering fundamentals
- Experience managing budgets and P&L for a service organisation
- Experience managing subcontractors or third-party service providers
- Strong project management experience
- A natural problem-solver, calm under pressure
- Comfortable with Digital and IT tools
- A leader who inspires both your team and your customers
