Your Role

We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee our Accounting Department. As the Accounting Manager, you will report directly to the Finance Manager, playing an instrumental role in the financial future of our local business.

You will be responsible for monitoring general accounting practices, developing internal accounting controls, reporting regularly to HQ and fulfilling local tax requirements.

Your Impact

• Ensure proper management of the general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable and other accounting requirements, in line with Group Accounting policies and procedures
• Guarantee the reliability, quality and timing of statutory and management reporting
• Ensure consistency and implementation of the control model across every transaction
• Oversee effective collection processes, inventory evaluation procedures and purchasing processes (PR/PO)
• Reconcile bank statements with the G/L bank account
• Conduct local tax filing and fulfill local fiscal and statutory requirements
• Cultivate organizational effectiveness by maximizing performance, people development and engagement
• Work with the Finance Manager to attain local legal and tax compliance

About You

Ideally, you are passionate about working out, enthusiastic and proactive, while also down-to-earth and ethical. You are excellent at teamwork and able to influence others and make the difference. You focus on accountability and strive for excellence.

What you should bring:

• 8+ years’ experience in Finance & Accounting, in a relevant role
• Degree in Economics/Business Management or a similar field
• Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and experience with common ERP systems
• Experience working in a SOX-compliant or internal control environment
• Ability to build and maintain effective customer/department relationships
• Knowledge of local fiscal and statutory regulations
• Understanding of Local Accounting Standards
• Experience in tax planning
• Ability to conduct P&L and BS analysis
