The Role in a Nutshell

The Build to Rent market is a large focus and opportunity for us in Technogym. This market has grown significantly over the last 5 years and Technogym provides premium and luxury complete wellness solutions (to help our end users live healthier lives) to a vast number of Build to Rent properties year-on-year. This growth has created an opportunity for a new Sales Account Manager to join Jonty and the team within our exceptional Hospitality & Residential team. 

 

We are partners to our clients and this business is secured directly through investors, developers, architects and designers, consultants and management companies. Identifying the builds at the early planning stage is key so we are best placed for the initial fit out stage. True partnerships extend beyond this and in this role you will manage the accounts all the way through the refurbishment, upselling and retention stages; via effective account management and maximisation of our Total Wellness Solutions portfolio including finance, service, digital, education and marketing support. Meeting and exceeding the residents’ expectations is the aligned objective. The Hospitality sector thrives off providing the utmost customer service to provide the clientele with the premium and luxury experience they seek.

 
For business, team and personal success, the new Sales Account Manager will have a consultative sales approach, strong relationship building skills as well as the hunger and passion needed to upsell and develop new business. The role is fully field based and the ideal candidate will be based in the Manchester area, travelling throughout the working week. The role will suit those who are positive and proactive, detail focused and organised, as well as able to work and adapt to a fast-paced sales environment. The role is both challenging and rewarding and offers the ability for people to shine and develop within the business (our internal promotion rates are a key example of this). A long-term focus, project management skills and experience within the build to rent market completes the profile.

What you will do

  • Achieve and over-achieve sales targets within your assigned territory
  • Research and identify Build to Rent opportunities well in advance of build and initial fit-out-stage
  • Account and project management for each Build to Rent project
  • Create and present CAD visuals (full training provided)
  • Market management and fulfilment of sales pipeline/productivity measures in line with the Company sales code
  • Identify consumer leads and sales through B2B2C opportunities and consumer networks
  • Keep up-to-date as a product and solutions expert, being a credible Technogym Ambassador
  • Ensure a premium customer experience, attending all relevant installations
  • Collaborate with different business functions to deliver Total Wellness Solutions
  • Collaborate with finance for proactive customer credit collection
  • CRM and quotation tool management, with clean and up-to-date market data
  • Execute weekly pipeline management reviews to maximize conversion rate (refuse to lose) and provide reliable forecasts
  • Research and feed back on market/segment/territory trends

What you will have

  • At least 2 years' sales experience as Sales Account Manager or similar 
  • Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Sports & Exercise Science or equivalent – desirable but not essential
  • Experience within or selling into the Build to Rent market
  • Experience in managing complex deals and selling solutions
  • Consultative selling approach and negotiation skills
  • Resilient prospector/business developer
  • Knowledge of fitness product use and physiological benefits
  • Solid experience with CRM software (knowledge of Salesforce is a plus)
  • Social media, IT proficiency and digital skills
  • Excellent listening, communication and presentation abilities
