Your Role

We are searching for a dedicated Business Application Specialist to support the alignment of IT strategy with business strategy, focusing on the SAP Competence Center (SAP CC) and managing applications across OTC, Finance, and Industrial areas. This role involves close interaction with business stakeholders, providing technical support, and ensuring the effective delivery of IT services.

Your Impact

• Assist in aligning IT strategy with business strategy by supporting the SAP CC.
• Manage and support the application portfolio across OTC, Finance, and Industrial areas.
• Provide first-level support for SAP applications, focusing on order to cash, after-sales, indirect procurement, and accounting processes.
• Assist in project management tasks, including creating and reviewing status updates and providing project delivery status to the Business Application Manager.
• Help forecast, schedule, and assign resources to projects, maximizing utilization.
• Support the recommendation and appointment of external resources when internal capacity is exceeded.
• Work with application analysts in support of day-to-day operations.
• Develop and implement appropriate service delivery models for core application functions, defining, delivering, and improving services for the enterprise and its customers.
• Document and recommend improvements for how the ERP application integrates with other applications and interfaced systems.
• Ensure adherence to standards and continuously evaluate the effectiveness of application systems.
• Monitor the performance of applications within their domain and evaluate the performance of services based on specific KPIs.

About You

Ideally, you are passionate about working out, enthusiastic and proactive, while also down-to-earth and ethical. 

What you should bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in IT application support or a related field.
• Strong understanding of SAP and its application in OTC, Finance, and Industrial areas.
• Proficiency in diagnosing and solving application issues.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Knowledge of ERP systems and their integration with other applications.
• Basic project management skills.
