Your Role

 

We are looking for a proactive, creative, and curious Process Engineer with Manufacturing Time & Method competencies to join the Process Engineering staff in our HQ (Italy-Cesena). The person will work with a cross-functional team on international projects to develop and improve production plants, introduce new manufacturing technologies and processes, and cooperate with R&D on new products. He/she will work in a dynamic environment that includes multiple platforms and architectures, and technologies and will coordinate internal or external resources. We need innovation and passion in lean production to be on the cutting edge.

 

This role is an international role and requires willingness to travel and to stay abroad for short periods of time.

Your Impact

  • Define and implement the best manufacturing process to ensure safety, quality, and costs
  • Define factory layout and assembly line layout
  • Define internal logistic flows
  • Introduction of machinery and automatic systems
  • Define production Standard Time
  • Phase-in of new product or insourcing
  • Planning activities and monitoring progress

About You

  • Technical diploma or degree in mechanical or management engineering
  • Experience in the assembly process.
  • Knowhow of carpentry and painting technologies and processes is an added value
  • Knowledge of Lean fundamentals (Value stream map, SMED, DMAIC process, 6σ, lean activities, …)
  • Experience in production standard time definition
  • Knowledge of Office packages in particular Excel
  • Knowledge of Autocad / CAD
  • Team Player with leadership
  • Strong practical sense
  • Good level of Italian and English.
  • Available for short trips
  • Wellness oriented
  • Enthusiasm, Humility, Proactivity, Passion for sport and physical activity complete the desired profile
