About the Role
At Technogym we put our customers' experience at the center of what we do. As Tech Product Owner you manage the entire product and its development with the end user’s wellness and experience in mind at all times.
Formats are Technogym’s definition of the fitness experience for groups that use technology, equipment and fun to deliver a superior training experience for participants. In this role you will work cross functionally to guide product development from concept to launch by connecting the technical and business worlds. You will break down work into manageable bits for the development teams to tackle, guide product decisions with the design team to improve the user experience and communicate clearly and effectively the value of new features to the cross-functional marketing and commercial teams.
You lead the management of the product backlog and the sprint planning; you work with developers on addressing customer issues and documenting changes. You will coordinate user research and data analysis to uncover user behaviors and friction points.
Responsibilities
- Influence the Formats direction and development within the Technogym Digital division both from a software development, hardware equipment and entertainment logic perspective.
- Own the product roadmap by managing goals, priorities, backlog and resources to scale the team and its .
- Engage with club operators, group classes and events participants to understand their needs, end-to-end business processes, pain points, and experience to inform the product direction
- Communicate regularly and transparently with internal and external teams and stakeholders and manage expectations across the business.
- Work closely with Engineering, Product Design, User Research, Content Production, Product Marketing and other teams to facilitate decision-making and deliver an exceptional experience to the end users.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, design, marketing or related field
- 6+ years of experience in product management or related technical roles
- Proven experience building and shipping technical products, in a data-driven environment
- A strong passion for the fitness industry and related group activities
- Excellent communication, technical, and prioritization skills
- Fluent in English and Italian
Preferred qualifications:
- Master’s degree or PhD in a technology or business-related field
- 2-4 years of experience in managing people with direct reports
- Experience managing complex software and hardware products, from design to launching to market and their evolution
- Experience driving product direction and design relaying on data and user research
- Customer/user requirements gathering and analysis with different tools
