Your Role

We are looking for a Talent Development Manager who will develop and execute training plans, implement development programs, and lead the annual performance appraisal rollout at the global level to support the Company's strategy. In this role, you will define and deliver content and tools focused on building and developing required competencies, in line with Company Culture and HR strategy. The Talent Development Manager is a pivotal figure dedicated to cultivating the organization's most valuable asset: its employees. This role focuses on enhancing employees' skills, knowledge, and competencies to drive organizational success and ensure a continuous pipeline of talent. By designing and implementing strategic programs, you will align employee growth with the company's long-term vision, fostering an environment of continuous learning and professional development that boosts productivity and innovation.

Your Impact

  • Design and implement a comprehensive talent development strategy that aligns with organizational goals.
  • Conduct thorough needs assessments using surveys, interviews, and performance data to identify skill gaps. 
  • Develop, deliver, and evaluate engaging training programs, workshops, and learning initiatives across various platforms. 
  • Report to senior leadership on the progress of employee development programs and their impact on business objectives.
  • Lead the annual rollout of the performance appraisal process and the calibration step at the global level
  • Evaluate the effectiveness and impact of all talent development initiatives, making data-driven recommendations for improvement. 
  • Manage relationships with external training vendors and negotiate contracts to ensure high-quality and cost-effective solutions. 
  • Design development plans and career paths at the HQ level and coordinate international development projects
  • Conduct the preparation and analysis required for Talent Reviews, as well as Performance Management processes, activities, and training
  • Lead projects in Talent Management: performance management, assessments, development programs and succession planning
  • Manage the induction process for HQ & Global Executive positions
  • Manage the full cycle of talent management, including succession planning for critical roles to ensure business continuity. 
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to employees, supporting their professional growth and career development plans. 
  • Collaborate with HR and department leaders to create and implement effective career pathways and internal mobility opportunities. 
  • Lead the succession planning process at the global level
  • Monitor and improve KPIs: effectiveness, timing and budget

About You

Ideally, you are passionate about working out, enthusiastic and proactive, while also down-to-earth and ethical. You have good time-management skills, and bring a sense of urgency to doing your work.

What you should bring:

  • Master’s Degree, preferably in Philosophy or a Humanities field
  • +10 years’ experience in HR
  • Ability to analyze, design, and implement training programs
  • Experience with training, performance and succession processes with global scope
  • Knowledge of Coaching and Mentoring techniques
  • Effective planning and management skills
  • Effective training and presentation skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Good logic and reasoning skills
  • Experience with performance, succession and the LMS module in SAP SuccessFactors
  • Mandatory C2 Level of Italian and English. Any other language would be a plus
  • Experience in D2C business, digital, or entertainment would be a plus
