Your Role

We are looking for a highly-motivated and brilliant Equipment Software Developer, capable of working with the team in charge of creating the most innovative and ambitious apps and digital-embedded products in the wellness sector. In this role, you will be involved in developing, testing, deploying and supporting Android software applications, developing experiences that will help people around the world improve their lifestyle. 

Your Impact

• Design and build advanced applications for Android platform mobile/embedded development
• Collaborate with cross – functional teams to define, design and ship new features
• Work with outside data sources and APIs
• Continuously discover, evaluate and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
• Work on bug fixing and improving application performance
• Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability

About You

Ideally, you are passionate about working out, enthusiastic and proactive, while also down-to-earth and ethical. You are motivated, innovative and creative, eager to work in dynamic teams.

What you should bring:

• MSc or Ph.D. Degree in Engineering or a similar field
• 3+ years’ experience in Android platform mobile/embedded development
• Great skills in managing mobile applications with persistence of data
• Good knowledge of invoking remote server calls (rest, soap)
• Experience with serialization/deserialization of objects in JSON format
• Good skills in the use of external libraries
• Good experience using Android Architecture would be a plus
• Solid knowledge of Kotlin and Solid understanding of clean software design principles would also be a plus
• Contributions to Github project(s) or open source communities considered a plus
• Proficiency in a Test Driven Development environment and continuous build experience in a Kanban Agile Environment would be a plus
• Fluency in English
• Role related Understanding of Cyber risk, information security & Cyber security topics
