Your Role
We are looking for a Controlling Specialist with a strong reporting focus to join our Controlling team at Technogym Village in Cesena. Reporting directly to the Reporting Controller, you will strengthen the team's capacity to produce sophisticated, high-quality financial insights for the top management. This role is about going beyond standard reporting: you will develop advanced analytical models, build scenario simulations, and transform raw data into decision-enabling narratives for senior leaders. Your work will directly accelerate the quality and speed of management decisions across the organization.
Your Impact
- Design, build, and maintain advanced management reporting packages and dashboards for the CFO and top management, ensuring data accuracy, clarity, and strategic relevance
- Develop scenario models and simulations to support strategic decisions, providing senior management with structured views of the financial implications of different courses of action
- Upgrade existing reporting from standard variance commentary towards more sophisticated interpretive models that surface trends, risks, and opportunities
- Support the monthly and quarterly closing cycle by preparing consolidated financial reports with insightful commentary and KPI tracking
- Collaborate with other Controllers across the team to consolidate data from multiple areas into coherent, cross-functional management views
- Identify and implement continuous improvements to reporting processes, reducing manual effort and increasing the speed and reliability of insights delivery
- Support Branches in developing annual budget and monthly forecasts
About You
Ideally, you are passionate about doing workout, enthusiastic and proactive, while also down-to-earth and ethical professional.
What you should bring:
- Bachelor's / Master's degree in Economics, Finance, Statistics, or a related quantitative field
- 3–5 years of experience in financial reporting, FP&A, management accounting, or business intelligence
- Strong technical skills in data analysis, financial modelling, and reporting tool development
- Proficiency in Excel (advanced), and experience with BI platforms such as Power BI or Tableau
- Ability to build scenario analysis and sensitivity models that translate financial data into clear management insights
- High attention to detail combined with the ability to synthesise complex information into executive-level communications
- Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and data warehousing or consolidation tools is a plus
- Proactive attitude, intellectual curiosity, and a continuous improvement mindset
- Fluency in Italian and English
Compensation Data
We believe great work deserves great recognition. For this role, we offer an annual gross salary (RAL) between €31,000 and €41,000, based on your level of experience, technical skills, and scope of responsibilities, in accordance with the applicable National Collective Labour Agreement (CCNL Metalmeccanici).
