Your Role

We are looking for a skilled Plant Logistic Engineer to supervise the inbound transportation network and ensure the required service level for the factory. You will be responsible for implementing and ensuring compliance with all work instructions and procedures provided to third parties. Your role will involve ensuring the correct flow of containers in terms of quantity, distribution, and quality, as well as optimizing the logistics flow and managing internal and external logistics projects aimed at continuous improvement.

Your Impact

  1. Supervise the inbound transportation network and ensure the required service level for the factory.
  2. Implement and ensure compliance with all work instructions and procedures provided to third parties.
  3. Ensure the correct flow of containers in terms of quantity, distribution, and quality.
  4. Plan transportation and deliveries for the entire process to ensure the satisfaction of internal and external customers.
  5. Optimize the logistics flow.
  6. Manage internal and external logistics projects aimed at continuous improvement.
  7. Control internal logistics and material flow processes in production and storage areas.
  8. Support the management of production logistics activities through the organization of logistics department employees and internal suppliers on all changes.
  9. Support for the production department in the delivery of machines, ensuring production targets are met.
  10. Monitoring and management of logistics flows between internal and external warehouses to ensure the supply of production lines and finished products for shipment.
  11. Functional coordination between operations departments and the IT team in resolving ERP system issues/problems.
  12. Support for the distribution logistics division in managing the return of finished products from the market, and warehouse management of these machines to ensure adequate stock levels.

About You

Ideally, you are passionate about working out, enthusiastic and proactive, while also down-to-earth and ethical.

What you should bring:

  • Master degree in industrial engineering or ICT Engineering
  • Experience in logistics engineering, with 1-2 years in a similar role.
  • Good technical skills and knowledge of logistics and supply chain management.
  • Basic knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and factory logistics
  • Strong understanding of transportation planning and container management.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and Lean methodologies.
  • Good ability to interpret complex data to make informed decisions
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge in SAP will be considered a plus.
  • Passion for industrial processes, technology, and continuous improvement
