Your Role
We are looking for a dedicated Plant Director in Slovakia to oversee our manufacturing facility. You will be responsible for ensuring that production processes meet quality, quantity, and economic standards. Your role will involve coordinating all plant functions, including line planning, procurement, inventory rotation, internal movements, production lines, and technical logistics and production functions. You will also ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of production processes through continuous improvement activities.
Your Impact
- Ensure compliance with quality, quantity, and economic standards of the production facility.
- Oversee the delivery of finished products in accordance with the production plan and order portfolio.
- Coordinate all plant functions, including process engineering, quality, line planning, procurement, inventory rotation, internal movements, production lines, and technical logistics and production functions.
- Coordinate all local corporate functions, including HR, Finance, and Facilities.
- Implement and manage all technical/technological plant systems.
- Define and implement cost reduction activities and policies to ensure service levels and optimize internal stock.
- Ensure plant safety and manage the environmental impact of plant areas.
- Manage and develop plant personnel through continuous training and development activities
About You
Ideally, you are passionate about working out, enthusiastic and proactive, while also down-to-earth and ethical.
What you should bring:
- Strong experience in finished goods manufacturing with high volumes (>100K pcs year with complex products - like automotive/white goods industry) with a minimum of 5-7 years in a similar role
- Strong Experience in People Management (200 HC)
- Experience in negotiations with suppliers is a must proven professional experience in plant management
- know how in mechanical machineries (laser, cutting, bending, or machinery), welding, painting, and assembly is a plus
- Strong technical skills and knowledge of production processes, logistics, and plant management.
- Excellent leadership and coordination abilities
- Experience in implementing continuous improvement activities.
- Know how in Industrial Control.
- Strong understanding of cost management and reduction strategies.
- Commitment to safety and environmental management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fluent in English, Italian B2, Slovak B2.
- Green belt / black belt is a plus (6 Sigma, lean manufacturing)
- Knowledge of SAP is a plus
