Your Role
As the National Key Account Manager CLUB , you will be responsible for defining the strategy and driving the achievement of sales, profitability, and cash flow targets for Solution Key Accounts (SKA) across the entire nation. You will bring significant value by developing and managing strategic partnerships with top-tier national accounts, ensuring alignment with Technogym's corporate objectives and market leadership. This role involves close collaboration with regional sales teams, marketing, and senior leadership to guarantee a consistent and high-value approach to our most important clients.
Your Impact
- Develop and execute the national strategy to achieve sales, profitability, and cash flow targets for Solution Key Accounts.
- Prepare, implement, and oversee the strategic plan for national customers to ensure alignment with company goals and long-term objectives.
- Directly manage and cultivate strategic partnerships with the most critical national customers, fostering strong and productive relationships.
- Negotiate and finalize national framework agreements with national customers, ensuring all terms are mutually beneficial and drive long-term value.
- Analyze national market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify and capitalize on new opportunities for growth.
- Maximize opportunities across all key accounts by leveraging the full potential of the Technogym Wellness System (TWS), driving market penetration.
- Oversee the national account forecast, ensuring accurate predictions and providing insights for strategic business planning.
- Ensure and promote strict adherence to the Technogym cultural model, company policies, and corporate governance standards.
- Support, train, and empower regional Key Account teams, sharing best practices and providing strategic tools to enhance their effectiveness.
- Manage the handover of accounts within the national team, ensuring seamless transitions that maintain client satisfaction and value.
About You
Ideally, you are passionate about fitness and wellness, enthusiastic and proactive, while also down-to-earth and results-driven. Experience in the fitness industry, either as a professional or as an enthusiast, is highly desirable, along with excellent account management, consultative selling, and relationship-building skills.
What you should bring:
- 8+ years' experience in a B2B sales role within the fitness, sports, or wellness industry, preferably at a premium brand or with a portfolio of Club/gym accounts
- Proven direct sales and consultative selling skills, with demonstrable experience in solution selling, negotiation, and long-term relationship management with gym chains or multi-site club operators
- Strong CRM management knowledge (preferably Salesforce), financial acumen, and experience managing P&L for a key account portfolio
- High credibility at a senior level with C-suite executives, ownership groups, and on-site General Managers of clubs; adept at adapting communication style to different audiences and business contexts
- Deep understanding of gym operations, membership models, club economics, and the role of equipment and digital solutions in driving member retention and revenue
- Experience in working cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, and Service teams to deliver tailored solutions and go-to-market strategies for the Club segment
- Exceptionally organized, with the ability to manage multiple national accounts simultaneously and deal calmly with high-pressure situations and ever-changing deadlines
- Master's Degree in Economics, Business, Sports Management, or a related field is a plus
Compensation Data
We believe great work deserves great recognition. For this role, we offer an annual gross salary (RAL) between €50,000 and €70,000, based on your level of experience, technical skills, and scope of responsibilities, in accordance with the applicable National Collective Labour Agreement (CCNL Metalmeccanici).
