Your Role
We are looking for a proactive, creative, and curious Manufacturing Engineer Specialist with mechanical and automation competences to join our Process Engineering team at Technogym HQ (Cesena, Italy).
In this role you will work on new product development in order to define production equipment and on multifunctional projects for the technology evolution of manufacturing process. In our Operations Team we emphasize innovation, passion for technology, lean production methodologies and design for manufacturing so as to be on the cutting edge.
Your Impact
- Design and implement equipments for assembly process
- Define specifications, validate concept and project
- Coordinate internal and external resources by planning activities and monitoring progresses
- Define and implement the best manufacturing process to ensure safety, quality, and costs;
- New products start up;
- Improve and define new technical standards;
- Develop and coordinate a reliable and fast supply network,
- Bring innovation
About You
Ideally, you are passionate about working out, enthusiastic and proactive, while also down-to-earth and ethical with a strong team-player mindset.
What you should bring:
- Technical Diploma or Degree in Mechanical or Automation Engineering (preferred)
- Knowledge of mechanical drawing and 3D Cad systems, preferably Creo and Windchill
- 3-5 years of previous experience in assembly, carpentry and machining process
- Knowledge of the main manufacturing technologies, principles and tools of Lean Manufacturing (Waste, Poka Yoke, FMEA, SMED, DMAIC process)
- Available for business trips to subsidiaries and suppliers
- English fluency (minimum level required B2 CEFR)
- Strong practical sense and problem solving skills
- Basic knowledge of ergonomics principles
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Package (in particular Excel)
- Nice to have: Experience in development of semi-automated assembly machine following the projects, from the specifications to the production start-up
