Your Role
We are looking for a proactive and experienced Electronics Laboratory Engineer who will be responsible for developing and executing electrical test plans for prototype products, ensuring compliance with technical specifications, and maintaining the operational integrity of laboratory equipment. This role is critical in supporting product development through rigorous testing, analysis, and troubleshooting.
You will join our R&D Team at Technogym HQ in Cesena (Italy) and lead the development and execution of electrical test plans for prototype and power electronics. In this role, you will ensure compliance with safety and EMC/EMI standards, support design validation, and maintain laboratory efficiency. This role requires deep technical expertise and hands-on experience in electrical design, testing, and compliance.
Your Impact
- Design Verification & Testing: define and execute electrical test strategies, perform component-level verification, early-stage testing, and FMEA. Collaborate with R&D to improve design reliability.
- Electrical Verification & Simulation: validate power stages and peripherals using simulation tools and lab equipment (oscilloscopes, analyzers), ensuring alignment with design specifications.
- Full-Prototype Functional Validation: conduct system-level functional tests under various conditions to assess robustness and ensure product requirements are fully satisfied.
- EMC/EMI Debugging & Compliance: troubleshoot EMC/EMI issues using RF tools; apply design-for-compliance principles to meet international standards.
- Laboratory Operations & Equipment Management: maintain lab equipment and procedures to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Documentation & Technical Reporting: create detailed test reports and compliance records to support design and certification
About You

What you should bring:
- Master’s Degree in Engineering (Electronics or Telecommunication)
- Previous experience in a similar role in R&D or Quality departments
- Fluent in English (minum level B2 CEFR)
- Knowledge of technical standards such as IEC 60335-1, IEC 62368, IEC 60601-1, CISPR-14 / EN 55014 or similar
- Knowledge of measurement equipments and test method for electronic testing and debugging
- Familiarity with electronic design, cable harness design, component manufacturing, and CAD/PLM/ERP tools
- Attitude to team-working and a sense of initiative and proactivity
- Focus on results and accountability, striving for excellence
