Your Role
We are looking for an Operations Quality Specialist with a specialization in Electronics to support the problem-solving process for manufacturing process related issues. You will be the transversal reference for all electronic quality topics within our manufacturing operations. You will be responsible for ensuring and constantly improving the quality of our operational processes and final products.
Your Impact
- Lead the problem-solving process for electronic and software issues in assembly line.
- Lead the failure analysis on electronic boards and components returned from the field or failing during production, identifying the root cause for non-conformities using structured methodologies (e.g., 8D, 5 Whys, FMEA).
- Develop, implement, and monitor the effectiveness of corrective and preventive actions.
- Manage non-conformities related to electronic parts, coordinating containment and corrective actions.
- Implement quality standards, procedures, and control systems.
- Conduct internal process audits to verify compliance and identify areas for improvement.
- Analyze production data and quality metrics to identify trends and drive continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., Kaizen).
- Work closely with Production, R&D, and Supply Chain to establish quality benchmarks and resolve issues.
- Ensure that processes and products consistently meet technical specifications and customer expectations.
About You
Ideally, you are passionate about working out, enthusiastic and proactive, while also down-to-earth and ethical.
What you should bring:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality engineering role in an electronics manufacturing.
- Deep knowledge of electronic components, PCB assembly (SMT, THT), and testing processes.
- Experience with electronic failure analysis techniques and related lab equipment.
- Proficiency with Problem Solving methodologies (8D, Ishikawa, 5 Whys) applied to electronic issues.
- Ability to read and interpret electronic schematics and technical documentation.
- Familiarity with Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001) and auditing techniques.
- Knowledge of ERP SAP.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma principles is a strong plus.
