Your Role

 

At Technogym we put data at the forefront of all decisions. As Data Scientist you will focus on data analysis and data modelling of both internal and customer data across all products of the Technogym Ecosystem. You will evolve the analytics on the Google Data Platform (Looker, Data Studio and Vertex AI) and modern BI on terabytes of data.

You will work side-by-side with multidisciplinary teams, such as Medical Research and Product Marketing, and cross-functional roles, such as Data and Cloud Engineers, to manage and integrate data within Technogym professional products. You will contribute to Technogym’s product strategy and direction with quantitative analysis and research.

Your Impact

 

  • Acquire data from primary (MongoDB, Google BigQuery) or secondary data sources and maintain databases
  • Develop and implement data analyses, data collection systems and other strategies that optimize efficiency and quality
  • Design and create reports and dashboards based on business and customer KPIs
  • Ensure data updating, consistency, quality and lineage
  • Interpret and analyze data using statistical techniques
  • Set the best practices and guidelines for data analysis and modelling
  • Define feature identification and integration, data pipelining, data munging and analysis
  • Develop explanatory, predictive, and prescriptive models using appropriate statistical methods, such as time-series analysis, supervised and unsupervised machine learning, natural language processing, and large language models
  • Help define proprietary solutions in the fitness and medical space that will be part of Technogym’s Ecosystem and products
  • Inform the product strategy and decision-making via producing visualizations and insights and presenting them to multiple levels of stakeholders

About You

Ideally, you are passionate about working out, enthusiastic and proactive, while also down-to-earth and ethical. You are creative and able to work in a team.

What you should bring:

  • Master's degree in computer science, mathematics, computer engineering, statistics or a related field
  • 2+ years of experience in a relevant data science role
  • Strong experience with Python or R and their most popular libraries for data science
  • Knowledge and experience with SQL, NoSQL or similar databases
  • Knowledge and experience with Google Cloud Platform tools and services
  • Knowledge of reporting tools such as Tableau or Google Data Studio
  • Knowledge of machine learning techniques
  • Fluent in English and Italian
  • Role related Understanding of Cyber risk, information security & Cyber security topics
