Your Role

We are looking for a Data Platform Engineer with 3 to 5 years of experience in designing and implementing modern data platforms on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Your work will enable advanced analytics and AI-driven insights across the organization. The role focuses on building near real-time data pipelines, ensuring data quality and reliability, and enabling advanced reporting and analytics through robust data modeling.

Your Impact

• Contribute to the continuous evolution and innovation of the data platform by implementing and experimenting with Google Cloud technologies.
• Design and develop data pipelines for batch and near real-time processing.
• Implement robust data models and architectures to support analytics and reporting.
• Integrate data from multiple sources ensuring consistency, quality, and security.
• Optimize performance, reliability, and cost-efficiency of data workflows.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Data Science and Business stakeholders, to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Support data governance, monitoring, and observability practices. 

About You

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in data engineering and data platform development.
• Strong knowledge of Google Cloud Platform components: BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Datastream, Airflow, Cloud Functions, API Gateway, Dataform.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python.
• Experience in data modeling and designing architectures for reporting and analytics.
• Understanding of ETL/ELT processes and related technologies (SAP Data Services is a plus).
• Google Cloud certifications are considered a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills, proactivity, and ability to work in a team environment.
• Goal-oriented mindset and proactive approach.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Fluent English (written and spoken).
